Wisden's review of Mumbai Indians v Delhi Daredevils, IPL 2009-10
At Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, April 13, 2010. Mumbai Indians won by 39 runs. ‡Mumbai Indians 183-4 (20 overs) (S. R. Tendulkar 30, S. S. Tiwary 38, K. A. Pollard 45*); Delhi Daredevils 144-7 (20 overs) (D. A. Warner 31, A. B. McDonald 33*). MoM: K. A. Pollard.
Kieron Pollard unleashed his ferocious power with three sixes in a 25-run final over from Andrew McDonald, to offset a sedate start: 75 came in the final five overs. Delhi started brightly, but the later batsmen failed to keep up the momentum. Mumbai were the first team to reach the semi-finals, which they had never managed previously in the IPL.
