Israel v Jersey: Game Cancelled

The threat of a protest by a Muslim group led to the cancellation of Israel's game versus Jersey scheduled for yesterday at the European Championships being held in Glasgow.

At this stage Israel's remaining group fixtures against Norway and France are scheduled to go ahead as planned over the weekend, although reports on the BBC suggest that the Muslim protestors have other ideas. In the days game that did go ahead, Norway defeated France by 4 wickets. In Group 2, Guernsey defeated Gibraltar and Greece beat Germany.
