Ahead of England's first World Cup match against Holland in East London Ian Blackwell told me: "It is now time to kick off our tournament. However it is going to be very tough now to qualify having had the points taken away from us by Zimbabwe but these things are sent to test us."
`Blackie' continued: "We are all massively up for it now and you can all expect a massive push by everyone. It's only Holland but that is the last thing we can think about."
He continued: "If anything you have to step up that one extra gear to do a professional job on them. You can expect the Dutch to cop a barage of what you can take as pent up anger from the last few weeks that has obviously troubled the lads."
However, the weather out here is a bit suspect at the moment and that would be an absolute travisty if the game was washed out. But it would also sum our luck up too!"
The all rounder concluded: "Fingers crossed for a great days weather and a place in the starting line up."
