It's Hampshire v Warwickshire in Nat-West Semi Final at Edgbaston.

Hampshire have been drawn away to Warwickshire in the Semi-Final of the Nat-West Trophy, to be played at Edgbaston on Saturday 12th August.

The other semi-final is between Gloucestershire and Lancashire at Bristol on Sunday 13th August.

Hampshire's record in the Nat-West Trophy (formerly Gillette Cup) is not too special against Warwickshire they have met on 5 previous occasions and have only won once. That victory however was a resounding 9 wicket thrashing of the Midlands side in the Semi-Final of 1991, and led to Hampshire's so far only victory at Lord's in the premier county cup competition. Another factor is that the four matches played between 1964 and 1971 were in the old Gillette Cup.

1964: Warwickshire 307-8 beat Hampshire 129 by 178 runs at Edgbaston

1965: Warwickshire 203 beat Hampshire 129 by 74 runs at Edgbaston

1968: Warwickshire 222 beat Hampshire 195 by 27 runs at Bournemouth

1971: Warwickshire 281-6 beat Hampshire 186 by 95 runs at Edgbaston

1991: Hampshire 173-1 Warwickshire 172 by 9 wickets at Edgbaston
