Iyer fifty sets up Daredevils home win

Delhi Daredevils, who were without a home win in nine matches, were inserted by Mumbai Indians and dealt an early blow when Mayank Agarwal pulled Mitchell McClenaghan straight to Ambati Rayudu  BCCI
Agarwal's opening partner Shreyas Iyer, though, was aggressive right from the off, punching seven fours and five sixes  BCCI

Jasprit Bumrah bore the brunt of the punishment, conceding 55 from four overs, including a six and two fours off consecutive deliveries  BCCI
Iyer and JP Duminy both raised fifties during a 154-run stand for the second wicket, the highest partnership of the season  BCCI
Iyer made his way to 83 off 56 balls  BCCI
But he wandered off his leg stump in the 17th over and was bowled by Lasith Malinga  BCCI
Finishing at under six an over, Malinga was Mumbai's best bowler and frustrated Daredevils at the death  BCCI
But Duminy remained unbeaten, his 50-ball 78 lifting the hosts to 190  BCCI
Mumbai's openers began the chase briskly before Lendl Simmons was dismissed for 15 by a well-judged catch from Duminy in the deep  BCCI
The visitors' other opener also perished to a blinder, Imran Tahir's stunning grab in deep square leg removing Parthiv Patel for 28  BCCI
Mumbai needed a big partnership to stand any chance of hunting down the large total, but no player stayed long enough for that to to happen. Amit Mishra took out Unmukt Chand and Kieron Pollard in successive overs to land their opponents in further trouble  BCCI
Rohit Sharma was the team's joint top scorer with 30, but left it way too late to inspire a turnaround  BCCI
Imran Tahir became the leading wicket-taker in the tournament when he picked up the scalps of Hardik Pandya, Rayudu and McClenaghan in a single over, and Daredevils cruised to a 37-run win to end their Feroz Shah Kotla drought  BCCI
