The West Indies selectors on Tuesday named 10 players who will be a part of the Busta XI squad to play in a three-day tour match against India next week. Former vice-captain and wicket-keeper Ridley Jacobs will lead the Busta XI in the match that will be played at the National Stadium, in St. Lucia from 26-28 April, 2002.
Jacobs, who was unceremoniously dropped from the West Indies squad, is being given an opportunity to stage a comeback. The two players who shall be omitted from the West Indies team for the second Test will also be asked to join the Busta squad.
The full squad reads: Ridley Jacobs, Daren Ganga, Devon Smith, Wavell Hinds, Runako Morton, Gareth Breese, Darren Powell, Pedro Collins, Kerry Jeremy and Dinanath Ramnarine.
