Anderson too good to resist at 2/1

James Anderson reestablished himself as the most dangerous swing bowler in the world at the Ageas Bowl, as if further proof were needed, and, having been cleared to play in the fourth Test, it is too hard to resist backing him at 2/1 to be England's top bowler.

Anderson's flop at Lord's had some questioning whether his potency remained but in the third Test he answered his critics emphatically with a first-innings five-wicket haul and two second-innings scalps to send England on their way to victory.

Having been found not guilt of a misconduct charge by the ICC, Anderson will now be out to make the Indians rue their personal attack on him. On his home ground, he will be more fired up than ever, so back him at 2/1 to be England's top bowler at Old Trafford.
