Javed Miandad has not asked for any remuneration or money

Pakistan Cricket Board regrets to offer a rebuttal of a baseless and an untrue news item that was published in some of the dailies regarding Javed Miandad's contractual relationship with the Pakistan Cricket Board, being national team's coach. In the news it was explained that he has demanded a lucrative deal in view of his designation as the coach. No such written or verbal agreement has taken so far and the news is termed completely baseless and unverified.

In fact on behalf of the Pakistan Cricket Board it is made clear that Javed Miandad has not asked for any remuneration or money for his services as coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team.
