Jones sets the date for his return to action

Simon Jones will return to action nine months after rupturing knee ligaments playing for England on the first day of the opening Ashes Test at Brisbane.

Jones will appear for Glamorgan 2nd XI against Lancashire 2nd XI in their three-day match at Panteg C.C. starting on Wednesday 6 August.

"It`s great to know now precisely when I can get back into action, " said the England paceman. "It's been a long nine months and it'll be nice to get the whites back on and get on the field."
