Kenya not worried by draw
Steve Tikolo has said that he is looking forward to facing India and Pakistan in next September's Champions Trophy in England
Steve Tikolo, Kenya's captain, has said that he is looking forward to facing India and Pakistan in next September's Champions Trophy in England.
"India and Pakistan are among the four top teams in the world," explained Tikolo following the draw. "They may be the tigers of cricket, but on any given day, the best team wins. We have played India many times, including the 2000 Knockout Trophy and in the semi-final of the World Cup in South Africa early this year. We have had our share of victories and losses against them.
"We played Pakistan in three matches of the PSO tournament in Nairobi last year, and we were unlucky not to have won one of the games, which we stood a good chance of winning."
