Steve Tikolo has been named captain of the 12-member Kenyan team to take on Uganda in an ICC Intercontinental Cup clash from July 23-25 in Nairobi. The team includes Maurice Odumbe, whose hearing into allegations of contact with a bookmaker take place on July 27. Odumbe has denied the charges.
Uganda trumped Namibia by five wickets in their last match. If Kenya fail to win the fixture against Uganda, it would reduce their chances of reaching the semi-finals of the tournament in Sharjah.
Kenya's second match, against Namibia, will be held from September 1-3 in Nairobi.
