Kirtley free to play for Sussex

James Kirtley has had his action cleared by the ECB and is free to play for Sussex this season. Kirtley was suspended last October following reports from umpires in two Championship games last season but has since remodelled his action so that his elbow does not exceed the 15 degrees of permitted fl exion. Kirtley has also stepped down as vice-captain to concentrate on his bowling.
