Little Sai Wan Cricket Club tours to Karachi

Little Sai Wan Cricket Club is pleased to announce its first tour to Karachi, Pakistan to participate in the Dr. M.A.Shah Leaphone Night Trophy 2010. This is a Twenty20 Tournament with 16 Team participating including a team from Afghanistan. The competition is expected of a very high standard with mostly first class players taking part.

"This will be a fantastic experience for the Tour members," said the skipper Tabarak Dar. "It will provide an experience of top quality Twenty20 Cricket and will be especially good for members who are also part of the National Squad."

"This tour is a step towards our club's overall development, "added Kashif Dar, Chairman of LSWCC. "We want to give more exposure to our club as well as increase benefits for our club members. All expenses for the tour are covered by our sponsors and we are grateful for their continuous support. We are also in negotiation for a second tour to India in early September for the Twenty20 Tournament in Sirsa."

The Team departs for Karachi on August 25th, and will play three matches in their 4 team group. They need to come in the top two to reach the Quarter Finals. The 1st Round fixtures are below.
