LSW tour to Pakistan cancelled

Little Sai Wan Cricket Club announced that its tour to Karachi has now been cancelled.

The ongoing worsening floods in Pakistan and the security situation in Karachi have concerned the Club.

"We are extremely disappointed as this tournament would have been a great opportunity for our players to play top quality Twenty20 Cricket," said Kashif Dar, Chairman of Little Sai Wan Cricket Club. "However, I think safety of our players is a priority and we would not like to take any chances. We pray for the people of Pakistan in this difficult time of worst flooding."

It is understood that teams from Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have also pulled out from the tournament.
