M/S Inzamam-ul-Haq, Ijaz Ahmed and Salim Malik could not reach in time before the Probe Committee at Quetta on 1st August 1998

M/S Inzimam ul Haq, Ejaz Ahmed and Salim Malik who were to appear before the Betting. Gambling and Match Fixing Allegations Probe Committee at Quetta on 1st August 1998 were issued Air tickets with request on Economy Class and confirmed seats in "Club Class" under PNR No: 32FN2J. The Computer Reservation System of PIA was down when the crickters reached the Airport in time to catch the 2:35 p.m flight. The players could not board the plane because the confirmed PNR could not be retrieved from the Computer System. The said players shall now called upon to appear before the next Probe Committee meeting.
