Media arrangements for ICC Champions Trophy on Tuesday 17 October

The following are the media arrangements on Tuesday 17 October in Mumbai on the day before the Group A clash between Australia and the West Indies, meanwhile, in Jaipur, Sri Lanka faces Pakistan in Group B

Mumbai

Australia and the West Indies will undertake pre-match media conferences during the afternoon. The West Indies will begin proceedings at 1530 with captain Brian Lara expected to be in attendance, while his counterpart for Australia, Ricky Ponting, will be available at 1630. Both media conferences will take place in the badminton hall at the Cricket Club of India.

Both sides will practice during the late afternoon with the West Indies' session due to start at 1530 while Australia will hold their pre-match work-out from 1700.

Jaipur

Tuesday sees Pakistan - Sri Lanka clash in Jaipur. The match is a day-night game starting at 1430. Non-rights holder cameramen will not be allowed access to the match; they will only be allowed into the ground shortly before the close of play.

The ICC Champions Trophy involves the top ten ODI sides playing 21 matches over 30 days at four venues with the final to be held at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai on 5 November. The West Indies are the defending champions after beating England by two wickets at The Brit Oval in September 2004.
