6 - Triple-centuries in Plunket Shield history. Papps is the first to score one for Wellington. The previous highest score for Wellington was John R Reid's 296 against Northern Districts in 1962-63. This was Papps' 32nd first-class century and his previous best was 206*. He is the leading run-getter in the Plunket Shield and the only batsman to score more than 10,000 runs in the tournament. Overall, Papps' triple-hundred is the eighth in first-class matches in New Zealand.
432 - The partnership between Papps and Luke Woodcock, the highest opening stand in first-class matches in New Zealand and the second-highest for any wicket in Plunket Shield history. The previous highest first-wicket stand in New Zealand was 428 between Peter Ingram and Jamie How for Central Districts against Wellington at the same venue in the 2009-10 season.
