Mudassar arrives to take charge

Former Pakistan Test all-rounder Mudassar Nazar arrived here on Saturday to take over as the chief coach of the national cricket academy which will start functioning from Feb 5 at Lahore.

Mudassar Nazar also met the Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Lt Gen Tauqir Zia and director Brig Munawar Ahmad Rana and discussed the job description and other modalities, a PCB spokesman said.

Muddassar, according to an earlier announcement, by the PCB, was scheduled to arrive between Feb 26 and 28.
