Muhammad Wasim fined, suspended for Toronto tournament

The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to award following punishment to Test cricketer Muhammad Wasim:

1. Fine of Rs. 50,000/-
2. Ban from Playing

The Pakistan Cricket Board deeply regrets the incident of misconduct as reported in the case of Muhammad Wasim and reiterates that such strict disciplinary action of even more harsh nature like life time ban shall be taken against any cricket player found or reported of being involved in such kind of immoral activities or otherwise.
