Medium-pacer Nazmul Hossain, who missed the last few games of Bangladesh A tour of England due to illness, has been recalled to the national side after a two-and-a-half year absence. Allrounder Shakib Al Hasan has also been included in the 15-man squad to tour Australia later this month after skipping the Kitply Cup and Asia Cup to appear for academic examinations.
Dhiman Ghosh takes the wicketkeeper's slot as Mushfiqur Rahim was ruled out due to a shoulder injury. Fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza and batsman Alok Kapali, who were both struggling with injuries, were picked while there's no place for batsman Nazimuddin and left-arm spinner Mosharraf Hossain.
Bangladesh leave Dhaka on Thursday and will play five warm-up matches ahead of the three-ODI series which starts in Darwin on August 30.
