New Zealand deprived by rain

Wet conditions meant New Zealand got no match practice ahead of their five-match ODI series in Bangladesh. Rain had washed out the first warm-up game on Friday and persistent showers prevented any possibility of the second practice match, scheduled for Sunday between a Bangladesh Cricket Board XI and the visitors. The five ODIs, the first of which is scheduled for October 5, will be held at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
