Nixon McLean signs for 1999

West Indian paceman Nixon McLean has signed a contract to remain as Hampshire's overseas player for 1999. The 25-year-old Windward Islander, currently on tour with the West Indies in South Africa had been chased by several other counties, but re-signed for the county. He took 62 first-class wickets for Hampshire in 1998.
