Australia's first-Test team will determine New South Wales' make-up for the ING Cup match against South Australia in Adelaide on Sunday. Nathan Bracken and Stuart Clark have been bracketed in the Blues squad and if either player is made 12th man against South Africa on Friday he will be released to the state.

Bracken, whose left-arm swing was used in the first Test against West Indies last month, and Clark are probably battling for the final bowling spot behind McGrath, Lee and Warne. New South Wales already have a strong international flavour in the squad with the return of Simon Katich and Michael Clarke from the Chappell-Hadlee Series and they will join Stuart MacGill and Brad Haddin.

New South Wales squad Simon Katich (capt), Phil Jaques, Corey Richards, Michael Clarke, Dominic Thornely, Aaron O'Brien, Brad Haddin (wk), Matthew Nicholson, Aaron Bird, Doug Bollinger, Stuart MacGill, Nathan Bracken or Stuart Clark.
