Makhaya Ntini, Andrew Hall and Justin Kemp are available to participate in the South African training camp, which commences on September 16 in Cape Town after Kent Country Cricket Club and Warwickshire County Cricket Club reluctantly agreed to release their overseas players.
The South African cricket authorities have been involved in lengthy discussions with the counties to secure the release of their players- Makhaya Ntini from Warwickshire, and Andrew Hall and Justin Kemp from Kent- for the remainder of the 2005 season. The South African cricket board had earlier given its approval for Ntini to play for Warwickshire till the end of September.
Andrew Hall has starred as an allrounder for Kent claiming 40 wickets at 25.70 and scoring 538 runs at 38.42 while Kemp has hit 527 runs at 52.70 and picked up 11 wickets at 32.73. Ntini has scalped 20 victims at 30.50 apiece for Warwickshire.
