NZ's Tour Itinerary Confirmed

WELLINGTON -- New Zealand's cricket tour itinerary to Australia later this year was confirmed yesterday, with three tests set down for Brisbane, Perth and Hobart.

The itinerary keeps New Zealand away from the three big test venues, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide for a second consecutive Australian tour.

In 1993-94, New Zealand drew at Perth, then suffered heavy defeats at Hobart and Brisbane.

South Africa will join New Zealand and Australia for the one-day international programme and will play its three tests at Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.

The itinerary.--

Oct 23-26: New Zealand v Queensland, Cairns.

Oct 29: New Zealand v New South Wales XI, Coffs Harbour.

Oct 31: New Zealand v New South Wales, Newcastle.

Nov 7-11: New Zealand v Australia (first test), Brisbane.

Nov 14-17: New Zealand v Victoria, Melbourne.

Nov 20-24: New Zealand v Australia (second test), Perth.

Nov 27-Dec 1: New Zealand v Australia (third test), Hobart.

Dec 6: New Zealand v South Africa D/N, Adelaide.

Dec 7: New Zealand v Australia D/N, Adelaide.

Dec 11: New Zealand v South Africa, Hobart.

Dec 13: New Zealand v Queensland D/N, Brisbane.

Dec 17: New Zealand v Australia D/N, Melbourne.
