Ontario cricket receives $1million grant

Ontario's Premier, Dalton McGinty, has announced that the Ontario Cricket Association (OCA) will receive a grant of $1 million.

Dalton made the announcement on Tuesday, at an OCA night at the Sagan Convention Centre, Mississauga. "We want to help more young people discover the joy and the challenge of playing this wonderful game," he said. "And we want to ensure that Ontario's provincial team is the best it can be."

Canada's World Cup roster is "packed with Ontarians", he added. "Many have come here from the best cricket nations in the world."
