SINGAPORE, April 3: Money seems to be pouring into the treasury of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as it has signed a US $ 20 million television rights contract for the live pictures of the Friendship Cup to be played in Canada in September.

The PCB alongwith the Indian Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) had jointly signed a five-match series deal in North America last month.

According to the contract, the Pakistan team will get US $ five million per year. The series is expected to continue at least till 1999.

The television rights contract was signed by the TransWorld International (TWI) who are the agents of the PCB. The contract has been signed on 75-25 percentage. 75% of the money will be equally shared by India and Pakistan while the rest will go to the agents.

According to an estimate , the PCB will have a share of US $ six million from the US $ 20 million package.
