Pakistan Cricket Board

Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed Mohsin Hassan Khan. Former stylish Test Opener as "Camp Commandant" for Six weeks duration physical Training Camp for Test Players and probables which will commenee from 27th May 1998 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. The Selection Committee comprising of Mr. Zaheer Abbas and Mr. Shafiq Ahmed have invited the attached list of players for the Comp.

A separate training camp shall be organised for under-19 Cricketers shortly as part of preparations for the Pakistan Under-19 Cricket team's tour to England in July 1998 hence Under-19 Cricketers are not invited to this camp. Similarly the names of all test players and probables who are engaged in County and League Cricket are not included in the list of invitees.

Player are advised to report to the Camp Commandant Mohsin Hassan Khan on 26th May 1998 at 4.00 PM at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. Lahore based players will stay at their respective residences whereas outstation players shall be accomodated at Best Western Hotel Lahore. Furthermore cricketers are advised to bring alongwith them their kits including shorts, T-shirts, swimming trunks, white brim hats, track suits etc.
