Press Release: Javed Akhtar to stand in Eng-RSA 5^th Test

Mr. Javed Akhtar (an umpire from Pakistan on ICC National Grid Panel) has been appointed by the ICC to stand in England vs South Africa 5^th Test match being played at Headingley from 6^th to 10^th August 1998. This is the first time that a Pakistani umpire has been appointed to supervise a match being played in England.
