Surrey County Cricket Club is pleased to announce that due to unprecedented demand all public area seating for the One-Day International between England and Australia on the 21st June 2001 as well as Friday and Saturday of the Test Match starting on the 23rd August 2001 at the Foster' Oval are sold out. Only 2000 tickets remain on the Thursday.
Paul Sheldon, Chief Executive of Surrey County Cricket Club stated:
"Following last years excellent Test series culminating in a five day sell out, we are delighted with the continuing strong support from the general public for the England team and the Foster's Oval. Ticket applications have consistently exceeded our capacity in recent years, emphasising the need to press ahead urgently with our plans to redevelop the ground and to increase the number of public seats"
The Foster's Oval has a capacity of 18,500.
