The Canadians slumped to an eight-wicket defeat to the Netherlands at Ruaraka after the North Americans made just 200 from their innings, a total which the Dutch proceeded to knock off with 16 overs to spare.

Pick cited poor discipline for the result and has ordered his players to mend their ways before their next outing.

"They've embarrassed themselves [on Monday]," said Pick.

"There weren't many of our boys that could come off and say the ball they got was too good for them.

"To me that's the mark of it - if you're a batsmen and the ball's too good for you then that's fine, put your kit away and wait until tomorrow.

"But if it's not then you've got to ask questions about the way you're playing.

"We've lost one, that makes it real difficult - it doesn't make it impossible, but this time tomorrow [Wednesday] it could be all over if they're not careful."

Scotland batsman Neil McCallum is looking for another victory after admitting his side got off to a "great start" with a win over Ireland.

McCallum scored a superb 100 off 92 balls to help the Scots record a dramatic three-wicket final ball victory over their rivals in Nairobi.

He said: "It was a great team performance. We stuck to it in the field and we showed some real fighting spirit there at the end.

"I'm delighted with the win. It's a great start for us."
