Ricky Ponting has been included in the 13-man Australian squad for the one-day internationals starting in New Zealand next week, despite injuring his ankle during the second final of the Carlton & United Series last Friday. Ponting was expected to face a long stint on the sidelines after crashing into the SCG boundary fence while fielding during Australia's crushing victory over Pakistan, but has been diagnosed with a sprain only and is expected to be fit for the six-match series which begins on February 16.
