Previous interim committee responsible for Rs.37 million loss

Sri Lanka Cricket would like to clarify the loss of revenue of Thirty Seven Million Rupees (Rs. 37 million) incurred by then BCCSL (SLC) for conducting the Mini World Cup in 2000 hosted in Sri Lanka.

Mr. Rienzi Wijethilake with 4 others, namely Mr. Sidath Wettimuny, Mr. S. Skandakumar, Mr. Michael Tissera and Mr. Kushil Gunasekara were the administrators of the Interim Committee.

Mr. Dammika Ranatunga who was the Chief Executive Officer during that period, confirmed the above statement recently in courts.
