Quick recovery tipped for Symonds

Andrew Symonds could be part of Queensland's FR Cup final on Sunday after medical reports on his injured right knee showed only minor damage. Symonds, who had an operation in December, played a small part in the Bulls' Sheffield Shield loss in Adelaide over the past week after limping off the field during the opening day.
He visited the team doctor Trefor James in Melbourne on Tuesday and was cleared of a major problem. "Andrew has pinched inflamed tissue in the joint of his right knee," James said. "We expect him to recover quickly. If the speed of his recovery continues he may be available for selection for the final this Sunday."
Queensland will meet Victoria in the decider at a venue determined by Wednesday's match in Adelaide. If the Bulls win they will host the game at the Gabba, but if they lose it will be at the MCG.
