Rain washes out series opener

West Indies Under-19s' four-match one-day series against their Bangladesh counterparts got off to a damp start when rain forced the first one-dayer in Savar to be abandoned.

The second one-day match will also be held at the same venue on Saturday. The series provides an opportunity for both teams to gain practice ahead of the Under-19 World Cup which begins in Malaysia on Ferbuary 17.
