Darren Lehmann will return to the Pura Cup alongside Cameron Borgas for South Australia's match against Queensland at the Gabba starting on Thursday. Lehmann was cut from the Australia one-day squad, while Borgas has been called up from his club side Sturt after scoring 666 runs this season.
Borgas, a 21-year-old right-hander, played two matches for South Australia in the 2000-01 season and replaces Luke Williams, who has a knee injury. Trent Kelly has made way for Lehmann, who will captain the side.
"Cameron is a young man who has done all the right things this season in grade cricket," said Paul Nobes, the chairman of SA's selectors. "His selection is reward for his good work, and will give him the opportunity to get a feel for, and acclimatise to, life at the first-class level."
South Australia Darren Lehmann (capt), Graham Manou (wk), Nathan Adcock, Greg Blewett, Cameron Borgas, Daniel Cullen, Callum Ferguson, Daniel Harris, Ryan Harris, Paul Rofe, Tom Plant, Shaun Tait.
