Resting up with a semi-final in mind

Tuesday 19th December

A very quiet day today for the Clear White Ferns as we build towards our semi final match against India.

This morning we had a light training session followed by a net session.

It turned out to be an absolute scorcher today so I spent the majority of the afternoon indoors, hiding from the sun, drinking plenty of water and resting. For many of the players this rest time is very individual and players tend to do what ever they feel will best prepare them for the upcoming match.

We had a team debrief this evening and then headed across to the dining hall for dinner.
