Root 9/2 to continue glorious summer

Joe Root has been England's star of their new era this summer and now he is set to regain his ODI form too. He is 9/2 to be England's top batsman in the second ODI against India.

Root burst onto the scene in one-day cricket with three fifties in his first six ODIs and then, after a lean patch, responded to make his first ODI hundred in the West Indies in March.

This summer, Root has been almost unstoppable with two centuries, a double hundred and an average of 97.12. Now he has the chance to bring that form into the 50-over game. Back him at 5/2 to be England's best bat in Cardiff.
