Scotland pay out refunds
Cricket Scotland is finally in a position to refund spectators who had tickets for the washed-out one-day international against Australia on August 18
Cricket Scotland is finally in a position to refund spectators who had tickets for the washed-out one-day international against Australia on August 18.
The match was abandoned without a ball bowled after a 4,500 sell-out crowd had crammed into The Grange and the match was also set to be broadcast on TV. Scotland were insured against the weather but their claim has only just been approved. However, only the spectators who returned their ticket stub by September 19 are able to claim a refund.
A Cricket Scotland spokesman said: "Everything has been done on Cricket Scotland's part to bring the matter to its conclusion as quickly as possible."
