Shaun Marsh returns to Warriors line-up

The following players have been named by the WA Selectors to represent the Western Warriors in a Pura Cup game v the NSW Blues at the WACA ground, from Friday 15 February to Monday 18 February 2002.

Selections

From the Warrior s previous Pura cup team v the Tigers in Hobart from 25-28 January, Shaun Marsh, Brad Williams, Brad Hogg and Chris Rogers replace Justin Langer, Brad Oldroyd, Murray Goodwin and Matt Nicholson.

Shaun Marsh returns to the Western Warriors' line-up following on from Australia's recently completed and victorious youth World Cup campaign in New Zealand. Marsh will play his 4th first class game and his first since the final game of last season v the Bushrangers, at the MCG from 15-18 March.

Simon Katich will resume the Warriors' captaincy in the absence of Gilchrist and Langer and Chris Rogers returns to replace Justin Langer.
