SLC'c Television & Broadcasting Rights

The Executive Committee meeting chaired by Mr. A.J.M Muzammil, Vice President of Sri Lanka Cricket was held yesterday at the SLC headquarters to discuss the final TV right holders for the up coming Australia Tour of Sri Lanka 2004.

Sri Lanka Cricket and Taj Television Limited entered into an Agreement in or around 23.09.2003 in respect of the Australian Tour Feb/March 2004 for the sale of SLC's Televising & Broadcasting Rights throughout a specified territory (excluding terrestrial broadcasts in Sri Lanka).

Consequently in or round 20.01.2004 the said parties signed a supplementary Agreement for the sale of SLC's Television % Broadcasting Rights in respect of the entire world (excluding terrestrial broadcasts in Sri Lanka) for enhanced benefits to SLC.
