Smith to go back to basics

Graeme Smith, South Africa's captain, has insisted his side will be going back to basics for the remainder of their one-day series against New Zealand, starting with the rescheduled fourth one-dayer tomorrow.
"In the last two games we have been outdone in the basics and we know that," Smith said, "that's something we have been really good at over the last couple of months. It's something we really want to pick up on again tomorrow."
One of the problems Smith and his side have faced has been adapting to the conditions in New Zealand, including the different shapes of the grounds. "We've travelled a bit on the smaller grounds here," he said, "and tomorrow will see where we go with that, you'll probably have to wait and see."
Smith added that while the pressure was on the bowlers to perform, he expected more from everyone. "Where we were in the game batting-wise last time, we should have won the game. I expect a little more from everyone, including myself."
