Somerset County Cricket Club is always on the lookout for new talent and during the coming school half term will be staging coaching sessions in the north of the county at the Indoor Centre at Weston Super Mare Cricket Club.
The sessions will be for both boys and girls up to the age of 15 of all abilities.
The Under 11's coaching session will take place on Tuesday May 27th between 10 am and 3 pm, whilst the 11 to 16 year olds will take place at the same time the following day, Wednesday May 28th.
The coaching sessions are intended for youngsters who want to improve their cricketing skills and enhance their chances of playing for the area representative and county teams.
However the sessions are also ideal for those youngsters who want to learn a new sport or have fun and meet new friends. Equipment will be provided for those who do not have their own. Cricket whites or tracksuit trousers, and soft soled cricket boots or soft soled shoes should be worn, and those attending should provide their own packed lunch.
