Stephenson dropped, Aymes returns for Leicestershire match

Hampshire leave out former captain John Stephenson from the side to play Leicestershire in the County Championship match starting Wednesday (17th May). Stephenson has scored just 65 runs from 11 innings in all matches, and taken just one wicket in that time.

Derek Kenway gives up the gloves to the returning Adi Aymes, and reverts to opening with Jason Laney. Simon Renshaw comes into the squad. Alan Mullally is still troubled by a stress fracture of the hip and misses a return to his old county.

Hampshire take 12 to Grace Road, and the choice seems to be between Morris, Udal and Renshaw for the 12th man spot.

Shane Warne will relish the battle with fellow leg spinner Anil Kumble.
