For the second consecutive day, Surrey's Benson & Hedges cup game has been affected by inclement weather. Relentless rain throughout the morning and early afternoon prevented the start of their match against Sussex.

With large puddles of water scattered around the outfield, the umpires finally decided to call it off shortly before the scheduled lunch time of 2.15pm. The two teams get a point each.
