Sussex youngster scoops monthly award

Justin Bates of Sussex has been awarded Second Xl Player of the Month for July 2000. Consistent performances by the 24-year-old Farnborough-born player during the month fought off some strong opposition for the award. Justin, who bowls off spin and bats right-handed, wins a prize of £600.
