Swamibapa withdraw from Super League

Swamibapa have withdrawn from the Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association Super League after several weeks of rows about the postponement of their matches.

The club had been angered that they were not allowed to postpone matches during recent international tournaments when seven of their first team were in the Kenya squad. But club officials had attended a meeting before the start of the season at which they were told that no such postponements would be possible.

All their matches in the league that they have not played have been deemed as forfeited and opponents awarded 20 points.
