The ICC Awards, presented by Hyundai in association with FICA, is international cricket's night of nights to recognise the world's best players of the past 12 months.
With eight awards to be presented at the gala ceremony in London on Tuesday 7 September, Swarovski has specially crafted crystal trophies for the individual award winners and the team which receives the Spirit of Cricket award.
Individuals selected in the official World XI sides will each receive a commemorative, hand-crafted cap. The caps presented to the World XI Test and World XI ODI players will differ in style to reflect the different forms of the game.
ICC Chief Executive Officer Malcolm Speed said: "We are delighted that Swarovski has crafted such elegant trophies, which we hope will become an icon for the ICC Awards."
Vice President of Swarovski International Communications, Ms Nadja Swarovski, said: "Swarovski is delighted to support the ICC Awards and be a part of such a prestigious sporting event to celebrate talent and sporting achievement."
Designed and developed at Swarovski's head office in Austria by Mr Sanjay Sharma, Country Manager-Swarovski Crystal Components Business, the trophies are crafted on the theme "breaking through".
The design features a crystal cricket ball studded with over 4200 Swarovski crystal chantons, resting on a hand extended from an aluminium base.
The crystals symbolise the enchanting and captivating nature of cricket, while the hand represents the "breaking through" of existing standards in the ultimate pursuit of excellence.
Mr Sharma said the trophies were a tribute to the champions of cricket and designed to reflect the grit and determination that the game demands.
Three colours are used for the crystal cricket balls to differentiate the award winners.
The Emerging Player of the Year and Umpire of the Year will receive a trophy with a clear crystal ball, while the Spirit of Cricket award will feature a red crystal ball.
The ODI and Test Player of the Year will receive trophies with a white and red crystal ball respectively, to mark the association with that particular form of the game.
Weighing 1.2 kilograms, the trophies are 30 centimetres in height and 11 centimetres in width.
The Player of the Year will receive an embellished trophy inspired by the same theme, with a red crystal ball, brass hand and gold-plated base. It weighs 3.8 kilograms.
