Sybrand Engelbrecht suspended for illegal action
Cape Cobras' offspinning allrounder Sybrand Engelbrecht has been suspended from bowling in domestic cricket with immediate effect, after his action was found to be illegal for all deliveries

Cape Cobras' offspinning allrounder Sybrand Engelbrecht has been suspended from bowling in domestic cricket with immediate effect, after his action was found to be illegal. The assessment, which was conducted by an ICC-accredited facility in Pretoria, revealed that all his deliveries exceeded the 15-degree limit.
Engelbrecht was pulled up during the Ram Slam T20 game between Cobras and Dolphins on December 9, but was allowed to bowl until the results of the test. Now, however, Engelbrecht cannot bowl in domestic cricket until he remedies his action and clears a re-test.
Earlier in November, Prenelan Subrayen, the 22-year old Dolphins offspinner, was suspended for an illegal action.
