Tasmiania announce list of contracted players
The Tasmanian Cricket Association has announced the list of 16 contracted players and two rookie contracted players for the next season
David Johnston, the chief executive of the Tasmanian Cricket Association, has announced the list of 16 contracted players and two rookie contracted players for the next season. The list includes Ricky Ponting, who is currently a Cricket Australia-contracted player.
Jamie Cox, one of the senior players, has agreed to the terms of the contract after some speculation that he might be jettisoned. Cox was woefully out of form last season, averaging 25.93 in nine first-class matches and scoring just 18 runs in three ING Cup games.
